A young girl named Purnima Ekanayake remembered her past life as Jinadasa Perera, a man who sold incense sticks and was run over by a large vehicle. Purnima made many accurate statements about the life and death of Jinadasa, even though she lived about 145 miles from Jinadasa's family. And she has birthmarks on her ribs that match the location of the fatal injury of Jinadasa. Dr. Erlendur Haraldsson (1931-2020), a professor emeritus of psychology on the faculty of social science at the University of Iceland, was the researcher in this case.
