Pedalling efficiency is a dark art of cycling, and something that even the pro triathletes and cyclists have to practise and work on in order to improve. Having a smooth and powerful cadence on the bike comes with experience, although as Mark explains in this video there are a few key components of pedal strokes that you can focus on in order to improve. He also shares some simple pedalling drills that you can perform in order to increase your power and efficiency.
