Use Photosphere Mode on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro to take a horizontal photosphere instead of using the panorama shooting mode. You'll get a notably better picture with double the resolution.
This should work with any Android that supports the Google Camera with Photospheres as well as prior Google Pixel and Nexus phones.
