There are three tiger reserves in the state of Assam.
They are :
Manas Tiger Reserve
Orang Tiger Reserve
Nameri Tiger Reserve
Kaziranga Tiger Reserve
At present there are around 53 tiger reserves in India. The first tiger reserve was the Sahyadri Tiger Reserve of Maharashtra.
