Melody Farris is on trial for the July 2018 murder of her lawyer husband, Gary Farris. On July 5th, 2018, Mr. Farris was found deceased in a burn pile on the back side of their Georgia estate. Initially, it was believed that Gary fell due to health issues into the burn pit, but over a year later, they began investigating the death as a homicide after finding evidence of a bullet wound during the autopsy.
