Hi All!

Here is a list of sample images I curated for Canon EF40mm f2.8 STM. I also provide the EXIF data, so that you can judge the performance for yourself. The video and also the images are in 4K resolution.

Why am I making these photo curations, you ask? As an amateur photographer myself, I always need (and still need) a reliable source of sample photos from a camera or a lens that I'm looking to buy or rent. Most of us do not have the opportunity to visit a photography store and try out the equipment before buying it.

However, most sample images out there are of very low quality, not representing the capabilities of the camera in question. Even the best camera will produce a horrible picture in the wrong hands. Moreover, most of the sample photos are stripped off their EXIF and then labelled incorrectly. Or, sometimes, people resize their photos down to a minuscule resolution and it becomes impossible to assess sharpness/noise etc.

Therefore, I decided to curate high quality, high resolution sample photos for various photography equipment and share them here in 4K resolution. I personally verify the EXIF data in all the photos I share and actually make sure they are authentic. Hopefully, these videos will help you on your photographic journey :)
