Yamaha PSR-27 | Demo Music Sample
*Repair Tip*
If your inlay strip fell off due to crusty adhesive just use double back tape.
Not much is known about this model from Google. Priced at $20.00 a rare find... There's something about the sound; Yamaha & Casio have a distinct sound style. This PSR-27 has a 80's synth.
*MISSED FINDS*
I checked out the thrift store and there was a Yamaha PSR-50/PSS-50, it was priced at $24.00 with stand and power supply. What interested me that it was a MIDI Controller. I tested it out and it sounded like a synth chip from a Sega Genesis sure enough that was gone the next day.
Recently I seen a dirty Casio keyboard for $12, it was full size. I'm not sure on the model number. It was made in 87' this keyboard was in bad shape the keys all worked but the drum patterns where screwed. The chord function I liked but was also messed up. For the price and time invested on cleaning the contact points it's worth it.
