Last week, Ramaphosa's legal counsel, Advocate Ngwako Maenetje argued that the president's rights would be trampled upon in the private prosecution bid by his predecessor.
Zuma launched the private prosecution bid against Ramaphosa, accusing him of failing to act against prosecutor, Advocate Billy Downer for the alleged disclosure of his medical records.
