The Severn Valley Railway held their Autumn Steam Gala between September 21st to 24th.2017. Extended to four days the event featured the following visiting locomotives. Southern Railway 'Schools' class No.926 'Repton' from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Great Eastern Railway 'Y14' No. 564 from the North Norfolk Railway and South Eastern and Chatham Railway 'P' class No.323 from the Bluebell Railway. Also visiting but not included in the video was 'Prince' from the Ffestiniog Railway which ran on a demonstration line at Highley. The home fleet was also in action although not all those running are shown in the video. Those that were are Great Western 'Manors' No.7802 'Bradley Manor' and 7812 'Erlestoke Manor', 7812 was making its final gala appearance before withdrawal at the end of 2017 and had been given the 'Cambrian' treatment with white buffer beams etc. Ivatt class 4 No.43106 and Pannier No.7714 are also seen. I visited on Thursday and Friday, Thursday morning being very wet but fortunately it had cleared by the afternoon and Friday saw some spells of sunshine after a misty start. Locos are seen at the following locations;

564 - Knowlesands, Northwood Lane, approaching Bewdley, Rifle Range and Bewdley Tunnel
323 - 'Bluebell' - Rifle Range and Bewdley Tunnel
7802 'Bradley Manor' - Knowlesands, Northwood Lane and Bewdley Tunnel
7714 - Bewdley
43106 - Oldbury Viaduct
7812 Erlestoke Manor' - Bewdley, Tenbury Wall, Hay Bridge and Erdington
