We show in this video how various methods of "Bolt Securing" Devices perform under the Junker Test to DIN 25201.
This standard tests the performance of Securing devices by subjecting them to Transverse movement. See our video showing more detail about this.
This test simply differentiates Bolt Securing Devices from what can be classed as either just a "Loss Prevention device" i.e. the nut will not fall off the fastener or a "Bolt Securing Device" where the devices retains more than 80% of the initial Pre-load.
The video shows how the Wedge Washer passes the test to DIN 25201 because of the way it using tension to maintain the load instead of relying on Friction.
It also shows detail on how the Wedge Locking Technology that the Wedge Washer uses functions.
