Now you can renew the fssai licence even after expiry of the fssai licence upto 180 days from the date of the expiry. But there would be some penalty that need to be paid . If you renew in last 30 days then you need to pay the 100rs per day penalty from last 30 days to till the date of application in case of licence only and not registration of FSSAI.
Food licence can be renewed till 180 days from the date of the expiry however earlier it was not possible to renew the licence or registration after expiry of the licence or registration.
Renewal would be available 180 days before the expiry of the licence. #fssairenew
