This lecture provided an overview of music therapy services in the hospital setting. It includes information regarding co-treatment and collaboration with other medical professionals with application of acquired knowledge and application to psycho-social care for patients.

* Ryan Tonkin, MT-BC, a board-certified music therapist at Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. His expertise in human behavior and psychology allows him to harness the power of music to help patients.
* Amy Engelhoven, PhD, CCC-SLP, CBIS, director of the UCF Aphasia House who has applied her clinical experience in acquired adult neurogenic communication disorders through an intensive treatment program for those with aphasia. Music therapy continues to be a successful component of this program.
