The Maserati Quattroporte is a stunningly tempting car on the used market, primarily because unlike its two natural rivals - the Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide - it is actually remarkably affordable, with the majority of used examples for sale in the UK coming in at well under the £20k mark - with some examples even offered at half of that amount...
At the same time there are huge amounts of both inaccurate rhetoric and natural cautiousness surrounding ownership one of these highly specialised and very rare exotics. So with this blend of desirability and fear on full display with these stunning four door Ferrari's, I think it best to weigh in as a 3 time Quattroporte owner myself to share some of the best and worst aspects of actually owning and living with them.
