Here are some really good chassis tips on a Class A, V10, Motorhome.
We'll cover how I discovered we needed a front end alignment on our Class A, F53 Chassis Motorhome and I'm also including a really cool tip on how to adjust a Safe-T-Plus on any Class A Motorhome. Even though we have a 35’ Class A motorhome, on a 22K chassis, we weigh in at approx. 21.2K lbs. fully loaded, and you can still get pushed around by passing 18 wheelers and gusty winds. During our preparation time to go full time, installing a Safe-T-Plus was one of many things I’ve done to improve the handling of our coach while adding another layer of safety driving on the road. Suspension—and especially tires—tire maintenance and tire monitoring are always at the top of my priority list. Installing our Safe-T-Plus was fairly easy. But when it came time to make those small adjustments so the coach would travel straight down the road, it was a challenge. But I finally got it after five attempts. At least I thought I did. This video will cover what I was doing wrong and show you a real easy, accurate way to adjust your Safe-T-Plus once it’s installed.
