My wife (Cindy) and I have just embarked on a wine journey starting in 2013. Our first wines sampled were Mirassou Pinot Noir and Menage a Trois Red Blend...from there we've now sampled hundreds to over a thousand wines without question. This particular wine video/tasting is on a Luca Malbec 2019 Old Vine from Mendoza, Argentina. This wine is a full bodied wine with notes of blackberries/blueberries and dark berries. Sweetness level is moderate but perfect for this wine. There is a hint of vanilla/oak/tobacco and spice while being just a little dry. Bought locally at Ingredients, SK for $55 Cdn.. On Vivino this is a 4.4/5 wine...we'd give it a solid 4.2-4.3/5 wine....simply amazing for the price and one of the consistently better Malbecs at that price range. Our wine video will share how this wine got it's name .....
