Backpacking through Colombia. Exploring Medellin, paint balling in Guatape, and climbing to the top of El Peñol.

From San Gil, we took a night bus to Medellin. In Medellin we took the metro cable to get amazing views of the city. We toured the graffiti in Comuna 13. We visited Parque Explora (a fun, interactive science museum), and 3 Cordilleras brewery for some good beer and live music.

We also booked the Pablo Escobar Paintballing tour in Guatape. They take you for a tour around one of Escobar’s old mansions, then you get to paintball there. After that they take you by boat to Guatape. You explore the city for a while then take a bus to El Peñol - the second tallest rock in South America.

ABOUT ME: After 6 months in Asia I (Ryan) decided I wanted to travel more so I flew from my home in Trinidad & Tobago to Colombia to start backpacking South America. I do these videos as a way of documenting my travels so I have something to look back on in the future. I plan to upload 2-3 videos per month. Feel free to subscribe and follow along.
