Tolerance is the foundation for peaceful communities. Religious tolerance, in particular, plays a crucial role in preventing hate crimes and extremism, as it contributes to building mutual respect and acceptance. One way to foster this is through interfaith dialogue, which opens pathways for understanding and reduces preconceptions.
As we know, tolerance is never guaranteed and requires our daily commitment to strengthen it. The PARTES project is dedicated to fostering collaboration between public authorities and religious communities to prevent hate crimes, creating a safer environment for all faith-based groups. By addressing the roots of violent extremism, the project aims to shift the focus from reaction to proactive prevention.
