Residents of the Syrian city of Manbij are celebrating after being freed from ISIL fighters. They have been under the control of the armed group since early 2014.
Arab and Kurdish fighters backed by US coalition air strikes pushed out the last remaining ISIL fighters from Manbij on Friday. The military offensive by the Syrian Democratic Forces started in May.
