Sometimes conditions are so poor that you have to adjust your technique in order to maintain control, speed and flow. The old “Slow Down to Go Fast” method. It works. When you have dry, hard pack conditions topped with a dusting of gravel you might as well be riding on ice. Keep your RPM’s low. Weight your outside peg. Shift up a gear. Roll on the throttle instead of hammering it back.
