Russia has banned most food imports from the US and the European Union in retaliation to tough sanctions imposed on Moscow over its links to rebels in eastern Ukraine.
To fill demand in cities like Moscow, which imports 70 percent of its food, Russia wants to boost imports from other countries, like Brazil and New Zealand.
