Through a series of case presentations, the issues revolving around the surgical treatment of degenerative spondylolisthesis including epidemiology, surgical management options, potential complications and complication management will be presented. Each case will be discussed by attending experts and then pertinent recent literature will be reviewed to provide evidence-based outcomes to support treatment algorithms.

1. Discuss the indications for fusion of degenerative spondylolisthesis
2. Describe the different surgical options for fusion in degenerative spondylolisthesis
3. List the most common complications related to fusion and non-fusion alternatives for the treatment of degenerative spondylolisthesis
4. Describe which elements of spondylolisthesis effect sagittal balance and require reconstruction as part of for treatment for degenerative spondylolisthesis
