This is a test video of my new microsoldering setup. This is my first attempt soldering this style of connector on a 30pin FPC breakout board. I made many mistakes in this test video, but the goal was to see how practical a simple camera + macro lens video setup would be.
I find the level of detail to be spectacular. If you look closely, you can see the bubbles in the paste flux and other debris floating around. crazy.
Setup:
-30pin 0.5mm pitch Hirose connector
-30pin 0.5mm pitch generic breakout PCB
-Lumix Gh4
-olympus 60mm f2.8 macro
-46mm filter
-solder fume extractor
-70w hakko fx-888D
-medium size chisel tip
-60/40 solder
Let me know what you think!
