Louis Martin and Marie-Azélie Guérin Martin were a French Roman Catholic couple and the parents of five nuns, including Thérèse of Lisieux, a Carmelite nun who was canonized as a saint of the Catholic Church in 1925 and Léonie Martin declared "Servant of God" in 2015.
In 2015, the couple were also canonized as saints, becoming the first spouses in the church's history to be canonized as a couple.
Their wedding anniversary is also their feast day, July 12.
