While I was bg trying to focus on my work, this thought comes up.
So, I pack up my bag and went to visit Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad where Bapuji spent his days with the inmates.

I saw little Gandhi of 1876, he looks very cute. then I move ti the next and see the Gandhi of 1899 dress like a guerrilla.
I then went ahead and check out the place where he spent his days. Its on the bank of Sabarmati River.  I saw a lady sitting in the balcony explaining about how Gandhiji tries to promote the art of charkha (the spinning wheel).

I left the place to see the inside, to my amazement I saw Kasturbaji Room! why not Gandhiji Room? next to her rooms is a guest
You can see how simple is the kitchen of Gandhiji place. everything you see here is common utensils found in any household, nothing standard nor expensive were use by him. I remember my pupu that is my great grandfather who use to wore such kinds of chapal.

This is the place consecrated for morning and evening prayers of the inmates of Ashram.

There is a statue of Gandhiji. no person is allowed to put on footwear to go near this statue of Gandhiji.

Okay... Let's see the museum of Gandhiji. May be I can learned more about him there...

This is the rare handwriting of Gandhiji in Gujarati and Hindi language.

this mural looks so real real that I have to look again and again to make sure its not real.

Salt Satyagraha, also known as Dandi March that took place on April 6, 1930 on display. Gandhi and a group of followers began a 240-mile march from Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat to Dandi, a coastal town, to produce salt from seawater in defiance of the law.
