London Victoria - Exeter St Davids
Day 1 of 9 of the luxury train that literally takes you around the UK, accross the Welsh border and The Scottish highlands, before heading down to London...
I had gone to Westbury for the day, mainly just to see this and get anything else which came through...
The clip of Britannia letting off steam actually lasted about 1.30minutes but was condensed down to about 15 seconds...
There was a massive flock of people when it stopped quite close to me, but i was quite glad to see this loco, looking very shiny after its recent overhaul etc. and it was made better by not having seen the loco for over 2 years...
Perhaps the strangest thing was the addition of EWS 66122 instead of the more anticipated 67s... I had seen previously that the 66 was taking the stock from Carnforth to Southall, but was still surprised to see it on the tour...
