The World NGO Day (WND) was held in Karachi on February 26, 2019. The event was organized by Four Corners Group and NGORC in collaboration with Humaawaz. The event was successful in delivering the two key themes:
1. Roots of sustainability lie within NOT outside: so the NGOs need to learn how to leverage local philanthropy and funding sources, and
2. Future is for those who are ready for it! What will finally emerge out the current strangulation of NGOs will require more business-like model of operations, provided CSOs/NGOs come together and work with media and government effectively.
