In this episode, we ride to the small village of Kuterevo where Bear Refuge was founded in 2002. It is located 30km from Senj, 60km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park, and only 10km from the National Park Northern Velebit.
The camp is run by volunteers from all around the world and inhabitants of the village, who help these orphanage brown bears live a normal life.

On the way to the sanctuary, I will take you through amazing landscapes and nature gems such as Gorski Kotar, Mrkopalj village, Fužine Lake, Senj, Lika, and much more.
