A place where man meets the divine within himself.
In sheer awe the world is currently just beginning to realize that somewhere in the southern hemisphere, in central java, in indonesia, there exists the perfect counterpart to the breathtaking architectural accomplishments of the "Age of Faith", the medieval cathedrals of Europe: the Borobudur Temple! Erected during the same period around the 9th century of our era, it perfectly radiates a similar spritiual impetus aiming at translating the great sacred texts of its own culture, Buddhism, into sequential stone carvings in order to propagate their content among those who where illiterate: the same expression of divine bliss on the face of its thousands of figures visibly touched by a glimpse into eternity as we find it on the cathedrals of Rheims or Chartres.
