In Wirral, an incredible 80 schools participate in the Eco Schools programme and 66 of these have been awarded with a prestigious Green Flag award (that's 13 more than we had in 2023)!
Being an Eco School means that the students and teachers learn about the environmental challenges we face and how they can make a positive impact.
Cathcart Street Primary School is just one of the 66 Green Flag Eco Schools - so we visited them to see all the things that they've been up to and what it means to them to be an Eco School.
