I also encourage parents to consider enrolling their children in the NaNoWriMo young writers program, if they show an interest in writing and/or storytelling. The second part of this episode is the writing prompt of the day. If you could go anywhere in the world we live in, or if you could fly away to a fantasy or faery tale world, where would you go and how would you get there? Write a story about your journey to your chosen destination. What problems do you or your characters face along the way?
