A full walk around of my 1965 AMC Rambler Classic Station Wagon, with the details about the car, and starting it up and doing some revs with it- as well as exhaust noise.
Full specs of the car are:
1965 AMC Rambler Classic 770 Cross Country Station Wagon
AMC 287 V8 (198 HP, 200ft/lb torque), with a Motorcraft 2150 carburetor, and single Super 44 muffler. Manual Steering, Manual Brakes, Torque Tube driveline, mated to an AM20 rear end with a now 3:15 ratio (stock, was 3:54). Has a newly rebuilt transmission and rear end, as well as brakes. Has factory AC but I have not attempted to recharge or fix it yet.
If you have any thoughts on the car, input on it or remember having a rambler feel free to comment! I would love to hear your ideas and stories!
I’m currently working on redoing the carpet, and will be putting in dual exhaust hopefully soon so will have more videos when I work on the car more!
Edit: Dual exhaust, with glasspacks is now installed, and carpet is also now installed. See my latest videos for the information on that!
