The original RKO opening and closing titles to the 1944 Disney cartoon First Aiders, scanned from a 16mm blue-track IB Technicolor print. This was the last time the black background was used on the credits card, where Marvin Woodward and George Nicholas have switched places in the Buena Vista reissue. The original title card – including its lettering – was refilmed for the reissue. There were several splices in this print, and the Pluto headshot was missing, so I’ve used the headshot from my 16mm print of The Legend of Coyote Rock, and reconstructed the title sequences using the reissue soundtrack. It’s exactly the same, however.
