In this episode of Talking Tudors, Natalie Grueninger is in conversation with Dr Owen Emmerson about the many ways in which Elizabeth I very publicly honoured and acknowledged her mother Anne Boleyn. They also shine a light on a fascinating act of parliament which essentially reinstated Anne Boleyn as queen and reinforced Elizabeth's right to the throne! It’s entitled 'An Act whereby the Queen's Highness is restored in Blood to the late Queen Anne, her Highness's Mother'.
