: About kheerganga trek
Kheerganga is one of the most famous and most attractive treks of India. Kheerganga is situated in the Parvati Valley.Kheerganga is at an altitude of 2900 meters.Kheerganga is less than 10 miles away from Barsheni. This trek starts from Barsheni Dam. Which passes through pine tree forests.You also get to see beautiful waterfalls, rivers and natural beauty in every short of this trek.Lord Shiva's son Kartikeya meditated at this place.After crossing the path of the track, a hot water pool is formed here. About which religious beliefs are prevalent. It is said that during the time of Satyuga, kheer used to flow here, but in Kaliyuga, there should be no war over this kheer, so Parashuram converted this kheer into water. Even today some cream-like pieces are seen in this pool. There is also a temple of Maa Parvati nearby. The local people have a lot of faith in this place. It is said that bathing in this water gives relief in any kind of skin related disease.

by bus or taxi
To reach kheerganga you can take taxi, bus from delhi, Chandigarh to Kasol after reach kasol you can take Bus taxi from here the bus will drop you at barsheni .After walking for 5 minutes from Barsheni, you will reach the dam, from here the Kheerganga trek starts

The fastest way to reach from kheerganga take flight to kullu-manali airport then you can take cab nd lacal bus services to kasol,barsheni
