The alleged suicide of a Class 12 student created unrest in Tamil Nadu’s Salem district. Protestors torched school buses and police vehicles, injuring several police officials on Sunday.
Violence broke out in Kallakuruchi of the Salem district after a Class 12 girl jumped off her hostel building on Wednesday (July 13). She was allegedly tortured by a teacher at her school.
As per reports, over 500 people gathered at the school to protest and seek justice over the death of the Class 12 student. However, it turned violent when the protesters started.
