Europe is known for its Christmas markets and Paris is no exception! While there are many small Christmas markets around Paris, the largest and most iconic is held in the Tuileries Gardens right in front of the Louvre Museum. It's a fun and playful mix of classic French holiday foods such as tartiflette, raclette, vin chaud (hot wine) and many other delicious delicacies, along with amusement rides, carnival games of chance, handmade gifts from French artisans, and even a Champagne igloo for the adults! We recorded this footage from last year's market to show you a bit of what to expect if you visit, or to give you a bit of Paris Christmas joy while you plan your trip to the City of Lights. We plan on making another video soon, doing a slower paced walking tour through the entire market so you can fully experience the largest Christmas Market in Paris!
