I demonstrate the behaviour of the speaker for a range of different frequency sinusoidal inputs from several up to 850 Hz while observing and explaining the nature of the various different measurements that are made and which one is better for which types or frequencies of vibration. We also are able to observe the interaction of the frequencies with the box itself and other structures in the close proximity which are caused to resonate with the sound and vibration increasing as a result.
This video is made in support of Dynamics Lab based exercises on both Dynamic Systems and Control A (41058) and B (43018) subjects offered in the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
