(9 Feb 2017) Snow storms and blizzards are sweeping through Romania, with temperatures dropping -22 degrees Celsius (-7.6 Fahrenheit) in some parts of the country.
The Romanian weather centre issued warnings for the period between the 9th to the 14th of February for extreme cold in central and southern regions.
Roads have been closed in central parts of Romania, and temperatures in Bucharest are expected to be as low as -12 degrees Celsius (10.4 Fahrenheit).
