Paul Njoroge, who lost his wife and three young children in the crash of a Boeing 737 MAX airplane in Ethiopia, testifyed before U.S. Congress on Wednesday.
Njoroge is the first relative of the hundreds of passengers who died in the two crashes to testify before Congress. He was accompanied by Michael Stumo, whose daughter, Samya, also died in the March 10 Ethiopian Airlines crash.
MAX aircraft have been grounded worldwide since shortly after the Ethiopian Airlines crash, and it’s not clear when they will be certified to fly again.
