Work on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link has been suspended until Sep 30, under a supplemental agreement signed by the transport ministers of both countries on May 21. Malaysia had requested for the suspension two months ago, and Singapore agreed to it in the spirit of bilateral cooperation even though there was no provision for it in the original terms of the agreement.
