This chutney is immensely popular on biyebari menus(wedding feast), jonmodin menus(birthday feast) or any other special occasion. Mix dry fruit chutney can be prepared within no time and requires few ingredients- aam shotto(mango pulp candy), alubukhara(dried plum), cashews, raisins, sugar and some spices. This delicious sweet-tangy chutney is served cold.
INGREDIENTS:
Methi(Fenugreek Seeds)- 1/4tsp
Jeera(Cumin Seeds)- 1/2tsp
Sugar- 100g
Water- 100ml
Salt- as per taste
Medium Size Lemon- 1/2
Aam Shotto(Mango Pulp Candy)- Handful
Alubukhara(Dried Plum)- Handful
Khejur(Dates) deseeded- Handful
Kalo Kismish(Black Raisins)- Handful
Raisins- Handful
Cashew Nuts- Handful
Hot Water(to soak the dry fruits)- 1 cup
