(13 Apr 1977) The Angolan government has warned France against letting the fighting in Zaire spread into Angola itself. A note sharply criticizing France for its support of the Zaire government was handed to the French Charge' d'Affaires in Luanda. The note said France would have to be answerable for all consequences its aid to Zaire could provoke in the future relations between the two countries. Angola's Foreign Minister, Paolo Jorge, makes a statement.
