Wild Rice Pilaf.
This wild rice pilaf recipe creates a side dish that’s full of delicious flavor. Great for holidays and everyday meals.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup onion sliced
2 cloves of garlic sliced
1/2 cup carrot -grated
4-5 Brussel sprouts thinly sliced
1/4 cup celery thinly sliced
1 cups wild rice blend cooked to package directions (I use Royal Blend Rice Select)
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Make it for the holidays by adding
1/2 cup cranberries
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
