@SupremePetfoods do not state this on their website or packaging in the UK but do state it by law on the ingredients in the USA. I have contacted them about the use of carmine as a colour in some of their loop treats - carmine is from female bugs that are killed for their colour, sun-dried and crushed. Rabbits are vegans and should not be fed anything that contains insects or animal products. Supreme Pet Foods have told me that their other products do not contain carmine but have confirmed that some do but they are not being open about this on their website or packaging when they have the option to do so. They told me months ago they were looking into an alternative but still haven't done so! It is not right to feed vegans anything derived from insects and still further not right to be open about it on all their marketing and ingredients. We now only use the ones that don't contain carmine for Harley.
