Seen here is a 10-car train of Alstom R160s running on the (E) line entering Delancey Street - Essex Street bound for Jamaica - Van Wyck.
Due to repair work on the Rutgers Streel Tunnel, (E) and (F) trains were rerouted in Queens and Manhattan as follows:
- (E) trains ran via the (F) line between Jackson Heights - Roosevelt Avenue and Delancey Street - Essex Street, the last stop. Trains ran via 6th Avenue and 63th Street.
- (F) trains ran via the (E) line between Jackson Heights - Roosevelt Avenue and Canal Street, and via the (A) to Jay Street - Metrotech. Trains ran via 8th Avenue and 53rd Street.
Simultaneously, due to track reconstruction along the Archer Avenue Line in Queens, (E) train service is suspended between Jamaica - Van Wyck and Jamaica Center - Parsons / Archer. (E) trains run between Manhattan and either Jamaica - Van Wyck or Jamaica - 179th Street of the (F) line. Free shuttle buses run between Jamaica - Van Wyck and Jamaica Center, stopping at Sutphin Blvd - JFK.
