Such an unusual knit stitch! The Two Color Butterfly stitch is very simple to knit once you have the hang of manipulating the yarn.
There are many variations but for this one you want to cast on a multiple of 8 stitches plus 3.
The columns between the butterflies are 3 stitches (you can modify)
The butterflies are 5 stitches wide (you can modify to any odd number)
And 6 strands tall (you can modify)
and I have 3 stockinette stitch rows in between butterfly rows (you can modify)
