Any good hunting layering systems includes a quality, high performance soft shell jacket. It's hard to find high quality hunting gear on a budget, but I may be on the right track. Teflon Shield+ DWR applied to the face fabric ensures an excellent water resistant barrier when moisture is present. The Hardscrabble is an excellent outer layer to conquer all the seasons.
