Ever wondered how a mock-up of a full scale fire test is set on fire? During our fire tests in a designated test tunnel in northern Spain we carried out over 200 full scale fire tests in order to check the performance of the FOGTEC water mist system. This video demonstrates the ignition process and fast fire spread throughout the whole mock-up. These fire tests were carried out for the Eurotunnel project. A worst-case scenario with multiple HGV fires and a fire load of 200 MW was tested.
