Why is it that immigrants often find themselves working harder than their native-born counterparts just to gain acceptance and recognition?
Marcel Badia will explore the compelling factors and social dynamics that contribute to this phenomenon. Through powerful stories, compelling research, and personal experiences, he will shed light on the barriers and biases that immigrant entrepreneurs encounter and provide insights into how we can build a more inclusive and equitable business landscape. Marcel is a serial entrepreneur and the author of two entrepreneurial books. He has also collaborated on a few other books about social selling and business principles. With almost 20 years of entrepreneurial experience combined, Marcel helps founders, innovators, startups, and younger generations launch new businesses, enter new markets, and commercialize ideas so they can think big. As a self-made entrepreneur, Marcel has worked with several startups in the United States and Europe and founded some of his own. After learning from his mistakes, he developed the knowledge and experience to guide others in their entrepreneurial journey. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
