Upcoming Apex Legends Update: Key Changes and Nerfs to Havoc, Bangalore, and Bloodhound
With the Double Take Collection Event just around the corner, Apex Legends is rolling out significant updates that include nerfs and buffs to popular weapons and legends, as well as changes to the map rotation. Here’s everything you need to know about the changes coming next week:
Weapon Adjustments:
Havoc Rifle Nerf:
Magazine sizes have been reduced across all levels to balance its high effectiveness in combat.
No Mag: 20 (previously 24)
White Mag: 24 (previously 28)
Blue Mag: 28 (previously 32)
Purple Mag: 32 (previously 36)
G7 Scout Buff:
Damage per shot increased to 33 (up from 32).
Rate of fire and recoil consistency improvements to enhance performance at maximum fire rate.
Longbow DMR Buff:
Increased headshot multiplier to 2.25, enhancing its lethality in skilled hands.
R99 SMG Adjustment:
Reduced hip-fire randomness to increase reliability in close combat.
Rampage LMG Update:
Reduced vertical movement during the firing animation in ADS for better control.
Peacekeeper (PK) Adjustment:
Blue and purple variants will now come equipped with an HCOG sight instead of a Bruiser.
Legend Changes:
Crypto and Alter Interaction:
Crypto’s EMP will now affect all players phased by Alter’s Void Passage, preventing exploits in high-level play.
Bangalore Smoke Change:
Players within smoke are now highlighted in white to others within a 20m range, adding new tactical dimensions to her smoke grenades.
Bloodhound Nerf and Perk Update:
No longer highlights targets in red during Beast of the Hunt.
New Level 3 Perks:
Sighthound: Reduces Tactical cooldown by 50% while Ultimate is active.
Flock: Removes enemy range requirement for White Raven spawns.
Pathfinder and Revenant Tactical Refresh:
Tactical abilities now refresh on both knocks and assisted knocks within a 3-second window, encouraging more aggressive play.
Map Rotation Update:
Public Matches:
The second half of the season will feature rotations including Broken Moon, Olympus, and Kings Canyon.
Ranked Matches:
The rotation will consist of Broken Moon, Olympus, and World's Edge, offering a variety of competitive environments.
